Customer profile
The customer is a paper mill that has maintained a long-term good cooperative relationship with our company, and has purchased many filtration equipment from our company before. This time, the customer’s paper pulp raw material was changed from reed to wheat straw. After purchasing a diaphragm filter press from our company, it was found that the effect of filtering papermaking wastewater was not good, and the filter cake was not formed.
Solution
- The customer sends the materials of papermaking wastewater to our company.
- After receiving the customer’s materials, go to the laboratory to do experiments.
- The first test: First add water to dilute the material, then add the agents PAC and PAM, stir evenly, choose polyester 3927 type filter cloth with a precision of 38 microns, and finally use a small diaphragm filter press to filter, the test results show that the filter cake cannot be completely formed, the filtrate is not clear, and the effect is not good.
The second test: Dilute the material with water, add the agents PAC and PAM, add diatomaceous earth, stir evenly, select a filter cloth with a black monofilament precision of 80 microns, and filter through a diaphragm filter press. The test results found that the filter cake’s molding is complete, the filtrate is clear and bright, and the effect is good.
The third test: Add water to the material to dilute, add agents PAC and PAM, add diatomaceous earth, stir evenly, select polypropylene 750B filter cloth, and filter through a diaphragm filter press. The test results show that the filter cake is completely formed, and the filtrate Clear and translucent, the effect is good.
Result
After many tests, it was finally decided that papermaking wastewater needs to be diluted with water, add PAC and PAM, diatomaceous earth and stir evenly, and then use black monofilament filter cloth and polypropylene 750 filter cloth to filter with a diaphragm filter press to form a filter cake intact, clear filtrate, good results.
