Product Description

The plate frame filter press is the most traditional filter press. Generally, for the filter presses, the filter medium is the filter press cloth. But for the plate frame filter press, except for the filter cloth, it can use the filter paper to realize fine filtration or even ultra-filtration. But the plate frame filter press can not bear the higher filtering pressure. And it only can discharge cakes manually, so the model normally is not very big. The max filter plate size is 1000mm. It's mainly for the laboratory and fine chemical industries.

Machine frame Construction

The standard material is carbon steel. An optional FDA approved food grade SS304, SSS316L, SS904L material.

Plate Construction

Select the type of filter plate material. The standard material is an industrial grade polypropylene. An optional FDA approved food grade polypropylene material, or a high temperature glass filled polypropylene material are also available. Special materials are also available such as Carbon Steel , Stainless steel and Kynar.

We offer German Standard Filter Plate

For different applications, we can modify base material by adding different additives or modifiers, to improve filter plate’s chemical resistance and mechanical strength under the condition of high corrosive, high temperature or high pressure.

If necessary, plate surface or filtrate discharge channels can be polished to Ra 0.8.

Features

Plate and frame filter press can replace different filter materials according to the requirements of different filter media and production process (primary filter, semi-fine filter, fine filter). The purpose of aseptic filtration can be achieved by directly using micro-porous filter membrane.
