Features of diatomite filter:

The use of diatomite filter

1. Before using the diatomite filter, check whether the water inlet and outlet of the equipment are closed. Check that the arrow on the handle is pointing to the flush position.

The process of working

The first project: circulation to form a filter membrane (pre-coating)

Installed in the hopper above the diatomite box, put a certain amount of filter aid into the diatomite box, fully mix with clean water to become mud, and send the mud to the filter tank for circulation through the pressure of the pump. During the circulation process, the filter agent forms a diatomite membrane filter layer around the filter element, and this process is called the process of forming a filter membrane through circulation. The second project: filtering process (Filtering)

After the filter membrane is formed, the valve of the diatomite tank is closed, and the filter starts to work when the valve of the raw water tank is opened. The main pump sends the raw water to the filter tank, and the particles (suspended solids) within 0.5 μm are adsorbed outside the filter membrane layer. As the filtration time increases, the pressure in the filter also increases. When the specified pressure is reached, the raw water valve will Automatic shutdown, the system enters the next stage.
